Adorable No-Carve Pumpkin Crafts

Happy Halloween! October is such a fun month to begin truly embarking on everything FALL. We love to decorate our apartment with festive fall decor.

And it goes without saying that the best part of October is Halloween! From dressing up to passing out candy, Halloween is an amazing holiday for both kids and adults.

Of course, Halloween would not be Halloween without pumpkins. We decided to create a couple of non-traditional pumpkins to mix up our Halloween decorations. Instead of carving pumpkins for Halloween, try one of our no-carve pumpkin crafts that are so simple and fun!

Striped Pumpkin

Supplies
  • Pumpkin
  • Paper Towel
  • Water
  • Washi Tape(s), of your choice
  • Scissors
Directions

Step 1: Clean off your pumpkin with a paper towel and water. You want the pumpkin to be as clean as possible so your tape will stick and go on smoothly.

Step 2: Take the washi tape and start from the top of your pumpkin (near the stem) and tape down the pumpkin all the way to the bottom of your pumpkin. Snip your tape.

Step 3: Repeat! Feel free to mix and match washi tapes to create your spooky striped masterpiece.

Mummy Pumpkin

Supplies
  • Pumpkin
  • Paper towel
  • Water
  • Cheese cloth or white ribbon
  • Googly eyes
  • Super glue
  • Double sided sticky tape
  • Scissors
Directions

Step 1: Clean off your pumpkin with a paper towel and water. You want the pumpkin to be nice and clean so you can easily stick on your mummy fabric.

Step 2: Super glue googly eyes to the front (and center) part of your pumpkin.

Step 3: Start from the backside of the pumpkin and begin to wrap your cloth or ribbon around the pumpkin. As you go, use double sided sticky tape to fasten the ribbon to your pumpkin. Make sure to leave a little gap to let your googly eyes stick out.

Happy Halloween!
