Quick Tips for Throwing an Oscars Party

Hosting a glam Oscar party of your own can be simple and stress-free with the right amount of planning ahead and some fun and simple ideas.

We’ve got some great Oscar-night tips to help you throw a viewing party that is just as memorable as the red carpet fashion

Mini Champagne Bottles

Our first DIY project we think really creates a wow factor at your table is to use mini-bottles of champagne as your place settings. This is a glamorous touch that also gives your guests a little memento that they can take home! We created our own little tags to mark each bottle of champagne. You just need ribbon or string, a cute tag, and a marker to write your guests’ names!

Popcorn Bar

Another fun touch we love is to have a popcorn bar. This is so fitting for a night in, and you can elevate your party to ‘Oscar Glam’ by having champagne flutes for guests to serve themselves their popcorn.

DIY 'Fashion Police'

We also love the activity of creating your own ‘Fashion Police!’ Give each guest a set of numbers 1-10. While watching the Red Carpet you can rate your favorite gowns and tuxes with your numbers! We jazzed up our numbers by gluing scrapbook paper to the back of each printed out number. This not only helps make your number cards sturdier, but also cuter!
