Skinny Spiked Arnold Palmer Recipe

There never been a drink that has better fit the bill on a hazy August afternoon than an Arnold Palmer. This classic combination is just half iced tea, half lemonade. Of course, anything is better spiked, so add a little vodka to round out your evening.

We love this recipe because it uses fragrant Earl Grey tea along with sugar-free lemonade. The trick is to use lots of fresh lemon juice to mask any hint of a diet taste. Now you have a perfect skinny cocktail to help you enjoy the afternoon sun, well into a beautiful sunset.

Ingredients
  • 3 Earl Grey Tea Bags
  • 5 cups boiling water (for iced tea)
  • 1 container sugar-free lemonade mix (plus water)
  • 1 cup of vodka
  • 6 fresh lemons
  • Ice
  •

Directions

In the morning, brew Earl Grey tea with five cups of boiling water. Remove bags after 5-10 minutes. Allow to cool.

Once cooled, mix lemonade according to directions on container. Squeeze the juice of four of the lemons into lemonade, and mix together with cooled tea in a large pitcher.

Add ice, garnish with slices of two remaining lemons. Serve in highball glasses with more lemon slices.

Makes: 1 pitcher (6 - 10 glasses)
