Skinny Blended Mango Cocktail

When the craving for a delicious blended tequila cocktail strikes, no need to drink your whole day’s calories in just one beverage! We crafted this truly delicious Skinny Mango Cocktail with the main ingredient being frozen mango. 


This blended treat tastes like dessert, yet is only sweetened with agave. Grab your blender and your love for tequila and try out this delicious recipe today!

Ingredients
  • 1 cup fresh mint
  • 1/4 cup agave syrup or 3 Tbs Splenda
  • 3/4 cup Casamigos Blanco tequila
  • 4 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 pound frozen mango chunks, partially thawed for 15 minutes, at room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups ice
  • Lime wedges, for garnish

Directions

In a small heavy saucepan, bring the mint, agave, and 1/2 cup water to a boil over medium heat. Stir until all is blended and agave dissolves. Cool to room temperature.

Strain the mint syrup through a fine mesh sieve into a blender. Press firmly on the mint leaves to release all of the syrup. Add the tequila, lime juice, mango and ice. Blend until pureed.

 

 

Pour into chilled glasses. Garnish with lime wedges and mint sprigs and serve.
