Spiked Peach Cupcake Recipe

We're pairing an easy boozy cupcake recipe with a cocktail that's sure to delight guests at your next party thanks to our friends at CIROC ULTRA PREMIUM VODKA.   After sampling their peach flavored vodka, we knew we had to try adding it to a sweet treat. This spiked peach cupcake recipe is super simple to make using a regular old box cake mix and will really impress guests.

Pair your cupcakes with our twist on the classic Bellini. We skip the peach puree and use a shot of Ciroc Peach Vodka for a drink that's stronger and way more flavorful!

  • 1 box white cake mix, + eggs and oil on back of box
  • Ciroc Peach Vodka
  • 2 sticks of butter, unsalted and at room temperature
  • Confectioner's sugar
  • 2 tablespoons peach juice
  • sliced fresh peaches for garnish

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Meanwhile, prepare your cupcakes as you normally would but replace the water in the recipe with Ciroc Peach Vodka. Our cake mix called for a cup and a half of water, so we scaled our vodka back to a cup and used 1/2 cup of water. This worked really well for us, but you can elect to use more or less of the vodka in your cake mix - just make sure you include more or less water!

Once your cake batter is ready, use an ice cream scoop to fill a lined cupcake pan. You want to fill each cup about 3/4 of the way. Pop in the oven and bake for about 16 minutes.

While your cupcakes bake, prepare your buttercream frosting. Whip your butter until light and fluffy, then mix in a shot of Ciroc Peach Vodka and 2 tablespoons of peach juice. Slowly incorporate your Confectioner's sugar until you have a frosting consistency you like - ideally it should be light, fluffy and cream colored.

Once your cupcakes finish baking, allow them to cool completely on a wire rack. Once they are completely cooled, frost and garnish with a slice of fresh peach.

Makes about 20 cupcakes
