- 2 cups apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup yellow mustard
- 2-3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1-2 teaspoons crushed red pepper
- Dash salt and pepper, or to taste
Place all ingredients in a medium bowl or 1-quart measuring cup. Whisk well until the sugar is fully dissolved. Let cool and store in a tightly sealed container like a mason jar.
If you like a sweeter sauce, add a little more brown sugar.
If you like a thicker sauce, add a little more ketchup. For a slightly tangier sauce, add a dash more mustard and apple cider vinegar.
