While you won’t find any of the Celebrations Team training for the gold, we’re prepping and celebrating the Olympics in our own way! Aside from mixing up all-star recipes and crafting our own DIY Olympic inspired décor, we’re brushing up on our favorite Olympians – both human and furry.

Here are a few of our favorite pooches showing off their own Olympian-like talents. And while not all of these activities are part of the official Olympic line up, we still think these talented canines deserve a gold medal – although they’d probably just prefer a lifetime supply of dog treats.

Most Musically Talented

This pooch is not just a pet, but a triple threat, too! Besides being irresistibly adorable and having an obvious knack for the piano, his inspiring vocals are sure to move you - now, to get him to sing the national anthem.

Gold Medal in Gymnastics

Jonathan Horton of the U.S Gymnastics team may be the “man to watch” at the 2012 London Olympics, but in the canine world, we think this talented pooch should be awarded the gold medal. His remarkably funny handstand-while-marking-his-territory combo gets a perfect 10 from the Celebrations team.

Most Impressive Dance Moves

Don’t be fooled by this tiny pup’s size – it has some seriously impressive dance moves! If your man hasn’t mastered the salsa, he may want to take notes.

Most Talented Skateboarder

Years of trying and failing at skateboarding has me more than a little jealous of this pooch who makes gliding on 4 wheels look too easy.

Gold Medal Long Jump

We bet World-Record holder "Country" has no problems catching any ball his owner throws at him. This impressive pup’s jump measures at just over 25 feet!

World's Strongest Dog

This photo of this overly-muscular canine went viral back in 2007, but so far there have been no contenders to take his throne as world’s strongest dog.

Best Diver/ Swimmer

This talented swimmer uses his underwater skills to save his favorite Frisbees from the fate of being trapped at the bottom of the pool. The pool may be deep, but it’s a piece of cake for this canine.

Gold Medal Soccer Player

Move over Cristiano Ronaldo, there’s a new soccer player ready to grab the hearts of football fans everywhere. This 4-legged player hasn’t quite mastered the art of playing with a team, but his control of the ball is pretty remarkable for well, a dog.

Loudest Bark - Group and Single

39 furry loud-mouthed pups met in London to set the world record for loudest group bark – 139 decibels. They then found the single pooch with the loudest bark – which coincidentally was also measured at 139 decibels. Pretty impressive if you ask us! We just hope his bark is worse than his bite.
