2 750 ml bottles of Ketel One Vodka
24 Grape Jolly Ranchers
12 Raspberry Jolly Ranchers
6 Apple Jolly Ranchers
3 Cherry Jolly Ranchers
Place each Jolly Rancher in its own 1 quart mason jar with a screw top lid. Add 1/2 bottle of vodka to each of the four mason jars and seal the lids tightly.
Place the sealed mason jars on the top rack of a dishwasher and run on the lowest setting. Remove from the dishwasher and make sure the vodka and candies have combined.
In a tall shot glass add 3/4 ounces of each candy vodka flavor starting with the Grape > Raspberry > Apple > Cherry (most sugar concentration to the least).
Tip: To keep the colors from mixing, slowly pour the back of a spoon to allow the vodka to run down inside of the shot glass and gently layer each color.
Pot o' Gold Martini:
Ok, so it's not a real pot of gold, but it's still perfect to raise a toast to celebrate St. Patrick's Day! Rimmed with edible gold dust, it's the perfect pairing for a more formal St. Paddy's Day dinner.
2 ounces Ketel One Citroen
Dash of lemon juice
6 ounces Prosecco
1 1/2 teaspoons Edible Gold Dust
Martini glass rimmed with edible gold
To make gold glass rim; mix 1 teaspoon edible gold dust with a few drops of
vodka to form a thick liquid.
Dredge the rim of the martini glass in the liquid to coat edge making sure the gold liquid is thick enough so that it doesn't drip.
To thicken add more gold dust and to dilute add more vodka.
Pour the Ketle one Citroen and lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon of edible gold dust in to a cocktail shaker with ice glass and shake until well chilled.
Spiked Irish Float:
In the spirit of Saint Patrick's Day mix up one of these floats to serve as a liquid dessert! Nothing could be more appropriate.
Vanilla Ice Cream
Bailey’s Mint Irish Cream Liquor
In a pint glass, add two generous scoops of ice cream.
Pour Guinness Stout over the ice cream, then add 2 ounces of the Bailey’s Mint Irish Cream & enjoy through a straw!
