Noah's Ark is a common baby shower theme and even more apropos for twins given that there were two of each animal of the vessel! Think identical small stuffed animals in flower arrangements and chocolate animal lollipops as party favors.

You don't have to build the ark, but a few pairs of plush animals on the tabletop is an easy way to perk up this theme.

Noah's Ark Tabletop Arrangement

For a simple Noah's Ark themed arrangement, place flowers in low baskets and then add 2 identical small plush animals within the flowers or beside the basket on the table.

Noah's Ark Place Cards

Place chunky small plastic animals, such as bath toys, at each guest's place at the table. Lean a place card against the animal or create a name label and tie it around the animal's neck with ribbon.

Noah's Ark Sculpted Fondant and Cupcakes

Isabella's Sweet Tooth on Flickr made this adorable Noah's Ark and animal cupcake display.

The cake designer made the ark and animals out of fondant explaining, "The inside of the boat is Styrofoam, the couple wanted to be able to keep it in the nursery."

I really like how she used blue frosting to create the look of water on top of the cupcakes and then set a little fondant animal on top. I imagine that she displayed the ark with the cupcakes surrounding it on the party table. Gorgeous work!
