No one needs to know how easy these are to make!
These fancy cookies make a great gift! Wrap them in clear plastic with a small bow.

Ingredients
  • 1 Package Sugar Cookie Dough

  • 16 Oz Semisweet Chocolate Chips

  • 4 Candy Canes Crushed

Steps
  • Bake your sugar cookies as directed. Let cool at least 30 minutes. If you have a store bought tube of dough, you may want to roll out the chilled dough and use fun cookie cutter shapes. If you have a ready mix package or have made your own dough, be sure to refrigerate the dough for at least 3 hours before attempting to roll it out (it will be too soft otherwise).

  • Melt the chocolate in a double boiler, a small crock pot, or even in a microwaveable bowl. If the chocolate looks bubbly on top, or a stiff layer has formed, whip it with a whisk (a spoon won't work).

  • Dip your cookies in the chocolate and immediately sprinkle with candy cane, then place on foil or wax paper to cool. Let cool until chocolate is complete hardened.
