Coed Baby Shower Games
The difference between Coed Baby Shower Games and games geared for the all-girl gatherings is that you have to take the cute factor down a notch and maybe turn up the action.
Diaper-A-Thon

The object of this game is for teams to compete to see who can diaper a bunch of oddly shaped things from a box to a balloon the fastest.

  1. Set up 2 long tables with 3 to 5 objects to be diapered: teddy bear, balloon, box, baby doll, and toy truck.
  2. Place a disposable diaper next to each object on both tables.
  3. Divide the party into two teams and have each team line up at the end of a table.
  4. On "go" a member from each team goes down the table diapering each object.
  5. When he or she is done, the next team member follows and un-diapers the objects.
  6. The next team members follow diapering and un-diapering until all team members have gone.
  7. The team that completes the diaper-a-thon first wins the game.

Baby Bottle Guzzle

This classic "frat boy" game is great for a baby shower.

  1. Fill baby bottles with liquid, preferably non-alcoholic, like juice, milk, or ice tea.
  2. On "go" the players drink the liquid just like the babies do, through the bottle nipple.
  3. The winner is the player that empties his or her bottle first.

The Babywed Game

This game is a take off on TV's "The Newlywed Game" where the expectant mom and dad answer questions independent of each other in hopes of getting the same answer.

Compile a list of 10 questions such as:

"Who will be the first to wake up in the middle of the night when the baby cries?"

"What will be the baby's first word?"

"Who will be the stricter parent?"

  1. Have the expectant parents sit in chairs at the front of the party with the emcee (your funniest friend) in between them.
  2. Give mom and dad each 10 or more pieces of paper, a clipboard, and a black marker.
  3. The emcee asks the question and the mom and dad write their answer on a piece of paper.
  4. The emcee asks the parents to hold up their answers for the crowd to see and if the answers match, the parents get a point.
  5. This game is pure entertainment with no winner and a perfect activity when everyone is eating cake!
