Decorative Glass Ball Ornaments
For equally impressive Christmas ornaments that take a little of your time, try creating your own personalized bulbs from clear glass ornaments.



Here are a few crafty ideas on how to dress them up:

Christmas Characters

Using fine paint markers, draw creatures on your bulbs. Some characters to try:

  • Reindeer
  • Penguins
  • Angels
  • Mice
  • Polar Bears
  • Gingerbread Men (and women!)
  • Santa Claus


Glittered Snowballs & Snowflakes

1. First, paint a layer of glue over the entire bulb.
2. Next, use a spoon to drizzle white glitter over the ball until it is completely covered.
3. Attach mistletoe or holly leaves and berries at the top to complete the festive look, and tie it to the tree with a red ribbon.

To make a glittered snowflake:


1
. Use a white paint pen to draw on the shape of a snowflake onto the ball.
2. Using a paintbrush, carefully retrace the white pen with glue.
3. Use a spoon to spoon white glitter over the glue for sparkly snowflake.
