Drive-In Movie Night

Go back to the heyday of Drive-In Movies! Set up a large white sheet outdoors, either on a garage door or side of the house. Set up the DVD player outside, with a projector (some of these are available cheap) and outdoor speakers, pull up the car or set up some folding chairs (or more comfy lounge chairs even better!), and it's a Summer night at the movies under the stars!
Of course, first make popcorn, popcorn, popcorn, and don't forget the old-time popcorn buckets, which can be found at any party store. Jazz it up by hanging some favorite movie images or decor, and bring lots of snacks, like milk duds, chocolate-covered raisins... you could even fire up the grill for more family fun! It's a perfect birthday party idea for the kids, or an avid movie buff. Any Pixar or Disney movie would thrill the kids, or a sci-fi/horror classic for Dads and the hubby.
