Keeps kids entertained by letting them decorate their own Easter basket.

The Great Easter Egg Hunt: Easter Basket Decorating Station
Steps
  • Keep kids entertained before they look for the loot with an Easter Basket Decorating Station. Set up a craft table where kids can dress up plain baskets or gift bags that will hold the eggs they collect on the hunt. You may choose to provide the baskets or ask parents to bring one from home. Take a trip to the craft store and pick up ribbon, boas, self-adhesive jewels, silk flowers, and assorted holiday items to decorate the baskets.

  • For a novel way to apply items to baskets, check out glue dots. These are dabs of clear glue on a strip of paper that are easy to use and spill-proof! Look for Zots 3-D glue dots to apply chunky items like fake gems or flowers.
