As your guests arrive, hand them a list of advertising slogans with a pen or pencil and have them guess what product each slogan advertises. It'll be entertaining to see them struggle because these are so familiar yet no one can really place them.
1963 Events Here are the biggest events that occurred in 1963 and we're sure these will be important to the third season:
February 19, 1963: The Feminine Mystique by Betty Friedman is published, marking the beginning of the Women's Liberation Movement.
August 28, 1963: Martin Luther King, Jr. delivers his famous I Have a Dream speech.
November 22, 1963: John F. Kennedy is assassinated.
Tell your friends to arrive to the party at least an hour before the season premieres, being disturbed during the show and having to miss some of the show are completely unacceptable. After all, arriving early has its perks: AMC is definitely going to be having a Season 2 Marathon right before Season 3 premieres.
