Paper hearts are a mainstay around Valentine's Day, but they work equally well when repurposed as flower petals for an everlasting Mother's Day bouquet. Use paper in mom's favorite color for a personalized touch.
Preparation
Supplies:
Colored paper
Scissors
Floral wire
Craft glue
Small beads, buttons or sequins
Steps
Cut out 3 to 5 same size hearts from colored paper.
Arrange the hearts in the shape of a flower bloom with overlap at the pointed end.
Thread floral wire through the end of each heart.
Twist the wire to keep hearts in place.
Glue a bead or other embellishment in the center of each flower.
Arrange flowers in a vase or attach with a ribbon and present to mom
