Pool Games for Kids

These pool games can be played in a small or large group as a family or while entertaining pool side.  They're simple, fun, and for all age groups.

Ball Search
Number each of the plastic balls with a permanent marker and then pick a number for the kids to find.  The first one to find it gets to pick the next number.

Penny Hunt
Throw a large amount of penny's into the pool. Cover about a third of the pennies with white out and send the children in to dive for them. If a child find a penny with white out, that child gets a prize.  Use the shallow end for the youngest and deeper end for the older kids.

Creative Dive Contest
Have competitions off the diving board for the most creative dive, biggest splash, touching the bottom, cannonballs, and staying under the longest.

Water Freeze Tag
Choose a person to be "it". "It" tags players and once tagged the player must freeze where they are. Other players can unfreeze them by swimming under their legs. When all players are tagged then "it" chooses a player to be the new "it.
