Ingredients
- 1 Bottle of Red Wine (it doesn’t have to be expensive, but it should be tasty—choose any reasonably-priced Spanish red that you would drink by itself)
- Chopped or Sliced Orange, Lemon, and Apple
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar (or two packets of Splenda for those calorie-watchers!)
- 3 Generous Splashes each of rum, triple sec, and brandy
- 1 Long Splash of Fresh Orange Juice
- 1 Splash of Fresh Lime Juice
Steps
- In a big bowl, pour the three liquors over the fruit, allowing the fruit to absorb the liquor for up to eight hours.
- When it’s ready to go, pour the wine into a pitcher filled halfway with ice, add the sugar, and stir until it’s dissolved.
- Pour the “drunken fruit” to the wine mixture, then add the orange juice and lime juice. Stir together and serve.
