Safari Kids Birthday Party Games and Activities
A safari party is perhaps one of the easiest themes to match up with games.

Safari Scavenger Hunt

Purchase a bunch of small plastic safari animals or inexpensive party favor packs, like animal squirts and paddle ball games, and hide them around the yard or party space for the kids to find.

Guess The Animal Footprint

Print out safari animal tracks and have the kids guess the animal that made the footprint.

Simon Says Be A Giraffe

Kids today love "Simon Says" as much as they did 50 years ago.  Play the game using safari animals, such as "Simon Says be an elephant!"

Animal Face Paint

Face painting at a safari party is almost mandatory.  Ask an artistic parent to head up this activity and paint the kids as lions, tigers, and other safari favorites.

Safari Animal Pinata

Lest we forget the piñata! Some themes are tough to create as a piñata (i.e. princesses and superheroes), but most animal piñatas look great and really add to the décor.  I really like this zebra and lion pinata.

Animal Activity Table

An activity table is always a good idea, especially for younger kids who may need to ease into a party. Set up items like coloring pages, crayons, even animal puzzles to keep the kids entertained.
