Florals to Fawn Over
- Putting flowers around your house or apartment is a nice touch if you are entertaining there.
- Don't worry - this doesn't have to break the bank! Just think outside of the box, or shall we say vase?
- Use empty wine or liquor bottles as vases (Patron tequila bottles have an especially nice presentation), which will add character and save you money. Just steam off the label, and presto!
- Put flowers in old spaghetti sauce containers or mason jars.
- Choose flowers that are in season. Tulips are affordable in the spring, but getting them in December may require a second mortgage!
- In this day and age of mp3 players, there is NO NEED to waste money on a DJ or band, whether you’re entertaining at home or out at another venue!
- Simply take the time to come up with a rocking playlist and plug your i-Pod into a tiny speaker or oversized speaker that guests will love. If you don't have speakers, just play the music from your laptop or computer.
