Spicy Deviled Eggs Recipe
Put the devil in your deviled eggs with a bit of heat. This recipe has a mild to medium level of spice, so add more of the spicy ingredients if you want to kick it up a notch.

Ingredients
  • 6 Whole hard-boiled eggs, peeled and cut lengthwise

  • 1/4 Cup light mayonnaise or salad dressing

  • 1 Tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 Tsp chives, chopped very finely (for filling)

  • 1 Tsp chives, chopped medium fine for garnish

  • 3 dashes hot sauce of your choice (we like Louisianna brand)

  • 1/8 Tsp salt

  • 1/4 Tsp black ground pepper

  • 1 Tsp paprika for garnish, or, for an extra kick, use a light sprinkle of chili powder

Steps
  • Pop out (remove) the egg yolks to a small bowl and mash with a fork.

  • Add mayonnaise, mustard, 1 tsp of the chives, hot sauce, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly.

  • Fill the empty egg white shells with the mixture and sprinkle lightly with chives then the paprika.

  • Cover lightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to one day before serving.

Serves: 6
