Star Straw Slip-Ons

This super simple Fourth of July craft will add a festive accent on drinking straws for a party.
Preparation Materials:
- Fourth of July design paper or red, white, or blue paper
- Scissors
- Optional: Star shape paper punch
Steps - Shop for Fourth of July design paper in the scrapbook section of a craft store.
- Cut out 2-inch star shapes from paper or use a star paper punch.
- Fold the stars in half and make 2 cuts about 1/4-inch apart into the folded part of the paper. Don't cut through the star.
- Unfold the star and slip a straw into the slits. Slide the star down a bit to dress up the top half of the straw.
