Steps
- The grand finale of your celebration will be the Easter egg hunt. Make treasure eggs by filling bright-colored plastic eggs with chocolate, candy, money and small holiday trinkets like fuzzy little toy chicks. Hide the eggs around your yard about 30 minutes before guests arrive. You may wish to hide real eggs as well, but remember where you put them or you may have an unpleasant discovery in a couple of weeks if left unfound.
- Consider offering a grand prize such as a gift card to a video store, certificate to a movie theater, or a large chocolate bunny. You can hide one golden egg or put a slip of paper with the words, "You Won!" inside. At the end of the hunt, announce that there is a special prize for the person with the golden egg or winning message!
