On the last day of Kwanzaa celebrations, children receive gifts intended to help them fulfill the obligations of the seven principles. Like other holidays, they can be presented beautifully. Make your own wrapping and use the gifts as part of your holiday décor.
- Wrap gifts with solid color paper: white, brown and traditional Kwanzaa colors (red, green and black)
- Decorate with stamps, stickers and clipart. Look for harvest symbols (fruits and vegetables), sun and candle designs.
- You can also use cardstock, scrapbook paper or felt to cut out shapes to add to the packages.
- Tie gifts with ribbon in coordinating colors.
