Cocktail trends come and go, but there is one summer sip we can be sure will always be en vogue: the mojito.

While the classic mojito is certainly lovely, it doesn't compare to the vibrant hue in our maritime version. Between the bright blue of the mix and the green of the mint garnish, you can see why we're such fans - once you sip this drink recipe you'll know how great it tastes, too.

Whether you’re relaxing poolside or just trying to beat the heat after a long workday, a mojito’s magic always seems to save the day with its refreshing mint tingle and citrusy splash. While we’ll never tire of this Cuban classic, it’s hard to resist an update as eye-catching and delicious as this blue mojito. Yacht or not this nautical-inspired take on the summer staple is sure to make a splash at your next party.

Ingredients:

1 ounce Blue Curacao liqueur

3 ounces club soda

2 ounces light rum such as Bacardi

4-6 fresh mint leaves

Lime slices, for garnish

Directions:

In a cocktail shaker combine Blue Curacao, rum, and mint leaves. Strain mixture over highball filled with ice; top glass off with club soda and garnish with lime slices and any leftover mint leaves.
