The Red Carpet represents all things Hollywood - glamour, beauty, and fame! Bring the Red Carpet to you without even leaving the comfort of your home, or your sweats! Skip the hours of fussing over your hair and outfit, and throw a Red Carpet Party that focuses on 2 things: sweets and sweats. Here are some ideas for putting together your cute and comfy party!

Picking a Theme

Be sure to choose a theme that you can incorporate into every little detail. Since your guests are focusing less on each other's outfits, they will be focusing more on the decor and food. For our Red Carpet Party, we made sure to choose red everything - from our red velvet cupcakes to the red berries we served.

Personalized Paper Goods

Long gone are the days of recieving letters and paper invitations. While evites are definitely a lot easier, nothing beats the feeling of opening a paper invitation with a personal note attached. There are so many free sites you can use or if you're handy with the computer, you can design your own invitation that fit your theme. Take it one step further with matching thank you cards, and we even made our own ballots for the award ceremony!

Cupcakes and Cocktails

Just because you are hosting a red carpet party, doesn't mean you need to have Black caviar and expensive champagne. Your guests will be just as happy drinking your favorite brand of bubble and eating your homemade cupcakes.

We decorated our champagne and wine glasses with (red) charms to tie them in with the theme as well as seperate the glasses to avoid confusion.
