Once you taste these savory sweet cheese appetizers, you’ll look for any excuse to serve them. The combination of crisp apple, cheddar cheese, and, yes, caramel, is divine, and they’re super simple to make!
We serve these delectable morsels as an appetizer, but wouldn't pass them up as a snack or dessert!

Ingredients:
6 to 8 apples
Lemon juice
8 ounce cheddar cheese block
Toothpicks or bamboo skewers
Jar of caramel sauce (I used Trader Joe’s)
Directions:
Core the apples and dice them, unpeeled, into 1-inch chunks.
Place the apples in a bowl and drizzle them lightly with lemon juice. Toss to coat. This will keep the apples from turning brown.
Cut the block of cheddar cheese into 1/2- to 1-inch cubes.
Push each block of cheese on a toothpick or bamboo skewer.
Add a piece of apple to the end of each toothpick or skewer.
Place the apple-and-cheese bites on a platter. Serve with a bowl of caramel sauce for dipping.
