Asian Themed Decor

Vibrant reds and yellows are an excellent color scheme to use for an Asian theme party.

For our adult birthday party celebration we staged a more sophisticated tablescape. Everything looked fantastic, but all of the elements we incoporated were quite inexpensive.

First, we layered red and black bamboo placemats over a basic white tablecloth.

Then, we found tableware with an Asian flair and set each guest's place.

To accent the reds and blacks we placed a narrow white vase at the center of the table and filled it with bright, yet delicate yellow flowers.

Then, to embellish our party table a bit more, we arranged takeaway red Chinese food boxes at each setting. These favors added a festive, yet classy touch to the tabletop.

Fill your favor boxes with fortune cookies, miniature paper fans or good luck charms. Anything Asian inspired will work!

It's always fantastic when favors dress up your table, funtion as place cards and thank guests for a fun time!

Finally the favor box, chopsticks and cupcakes we served for dessert were all dressed up inexpensively with free Asian theme printables from Gwynn Wasson Designs.
