Autumn Leaves Wreath

Jeanne Benedict

The vibrant colors of autumn leaves look amazing when layered on fall decorations. For our front door this year we decided to make a fall wreath adorned completely with leaves.

Though real fall leaves are easily and inexpensively found, we don't recommend using them for this decoration craft.

You'll want to opt for the faux leaves found at your local craft store to ensure your hard work and beautiful fall decoration lasts all this season and next!

Once completed, this fall wreath will be a real stunner on your front door.

Supplies

Foam Brush
Aleene's Tacky Glue
Styrofoam wreath form
Autumn leaves

Directions

Brush the tacky glue over a Styrofoam wreath form - you'll find a wide selection at the craft store. We used a typical round base, but you may prefer a rectangle!

Begin by layering your leaves around the wreath. You can glue as you go, but it worked better for us to arrange the leaves in the pattern we wanted first. Once you're happy with the look, then glue your leaves on.

Finally, allow your glue to dry completely. Once it has, you can either tack on a few more fall embellishments like mini pumpkins, acorns or branches or hang your wreath proudly on the front door!
