While these dainty bites may seem more fitting for a baby shower rather than a kids birthday sleepover, they're so easy to make and kid-friendly that they work just as well at a midnight feast as at an afternoon tea.
Creamy avocado, sweet ripe tomatoes and fresh bread make these finger sandwiches a great addition to any midnight feast sleepover birthday menu. These finger sandwiches are simple enough to make that you can prepare them just before serving without much work or planning, and good enough that they will be gone by the end of the feast.
Ingredients:
1 loaf of sandwich bread
3 avocados
2 ripe Roma tomatoes
3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
Directions:
Place the avocado and mayonnaise in a mixing bowl and blend until smooth. Then rinse and thinly slice the tomatoes. Remove the crust from the bread and slice into finger portions before layering with avocado and tomatoes.
