Baby Jar Parfait Dessert

More Party Ideas

Dessert is always important at a baby shower and we think serving layered parfaits in baby jars is a great idea! Not only is it easy to prep this dessert recipe ahead of time, but the baby jars are a nod to the little bundle of joy you're celebrating.

This recipe is more about assembly and uses "convenience" mixes to prepare each layer. The end result is delicious and whimsical, and adding a coordinating tag from our giraffe collection dresses it up even more to suit our baby shower theme.

You will need to stock up on small baby jars for this recipe. We suggest buying the fruit varieties which you can eat if you like. Otherwise, just dispose of the baby food, remove labels, and clean the jars.

Ingredients:

Prepared yellow cake, unfrosted

Prepared no-bake cheesecake, filling only

toffee bits and/or pecan chips

Prepared whipped cream frosting

Clean baby jars, small size

Directions:

Begin by breaking up small pieces of cake and adding to the jar for the bottom layer. Add a sprinkling of pecan chips or toffee bits, then add a layer of the cheesecake filling. Add another layer of cake and top with frosting.

Place a color coordinated candy on top if desired.

Tie a circle tag from the Pear Tree collection around the jar with twine or ribbon to finish it off!
