Baby Milestones Quiz

First birthday parties are all about celebrating the growth of baby, so in between eating brunch and the opening of presents, I tested party guests baby knowledge with a little quiz on the milestones of our little girl's first year.

Some of the questions included:

How hold was baby when she took her first step?

What was baby’s first word?

How many teeth does baby have?

How hold was baby when she slept through the night?

What food does baby always spit out?

The prize for answering the most questions correct? A sparkly sunshine Christmas ornament.

Yes, it's the summer, but this ornament can hang both on a Christmas tree as well as in the window during the summer!

I bought the ornament, plus one more to have as a party keepsake, during the holiday season specifically for this party.

If, like me, your party takes place in the middle of summer and, if, unlike me, you're not an obsessive party planner, you can always use other items such as a candle holder or magnet for your prize.

Summary: Using questions you make up or find online, create a fun quiz that focuses all the attention on baby's accomplishements throughout the first year.

Supplies: printouts of quiz, pencils or pens, winner's prize

How to Play:

Pass out a quiz and pencil to each guest. Give them time to answer the questions. I used approximately one minute per question.

Collect the quizzes, and have a non-participant go through them to find who has the most correct (or nearly correct) answers.

After a winner is determined read over the quiz, give the answers and hand out your prize.
