Fruit cocktail is a favorite for the young and young at heart, made fresh at home, this party dish is a quick and healthy snack for all party goers.  What's more, you can make this dish in advance, saving your time on the big day.

I used fresh summer fruit, however you can change the fruit to fit your season and taste. The recipe below makes 5 half cup servings.

Ingredients

1 large gala apple
2 small nectarines
2 apricots
1 cup of fresh cantaloupe
5 strawberries
1 cup of apple juice

Directions

Finley chop the fruit into small toddler size pieces (no larger than a dime), then either mix the ingredients into a bowl or layer them into your serving pots.

Once the contents are in your serving pots, top with Apple Juice, taking care only to lightly coat the fruit with the juice, not over fill the pots with juice.

Place in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours in advance, and serve chilled.
