For a kid-friendly BBQ bash try one or both of these activities that take barbecue foods to a silly level!
Build Your Own Burger Bar

Let the kids do the work! As an activity, we had the kids build their own sliders. Set up the kids' table with an array of basic burger toppings and let them go to town.
You'll want to be sure you have:
Mini cheeseburger sliders
Mustard
Ketchup
Sliced Tomatoes
Lettuce Leaves
Sliced Onion
Pickles
Sliders are the perfect sized portion for little mouths. They're also a great alternative to the usual burger if you can’t make them on the grill.
Find them in your grocer’s freezer section at your local grocery store.
Summer Fun Photobooth

Summer memories from childhood will last a lifetime. A great way to physically document them though is with a photobooth.
Watermelon is kid-friendly and a BBQ must, so we used the fruit as our inspiration.
First, we cut up extra wedges of watermelon and placed them on wooden skewers as photo props.
Then, we hung paper streamers for a colorful back drop and got silly!
The kids had a blast with this and it cost so little to do.
