Beach Themed Baby Shower Decor

For this baby shower, you'll want nothing more than vibrant colors for your entire beach ambiance.

Bright Colors
Pick a summery, bright color palette and buy or make your decorations following the palette. A good combination of colors to try:

  • yellow
  • orange
  • red (or peach)
  • white

These gender neutrals are loud enough to make a statement but the colors are analogous (next to each other) on the color palette, making it easy to coordinate and mix & match.

Creating a Beach Scene

  • If possible, hang paper lanterns around the room for a beachy vibe.
  • If you're having a sit-down meal, lanterns look great hung in a line over the middle of the table.
  • For budget decor, buy colorful tissue paper in bulk and create dramatic Tissue Paper Pom Poms to hang around the roo in lieu of lanterns. They still look great hung over the tables.

Table Decor
Infuse the bash with beach-themed items to pull the outdoors in for the shower.

  • Lay down tablecloths
  • Spread sand down the middle of a table
  • Place seashells, seahorses and starfish in the sand.
Set a floral arrangement in a plastic beach pail. You can use pails in different sizes; a large one for the centerpiece and smaller ones to flank it on either side.

Place cards
Create pretty place cards that keep with the theme by writing the guest's names on sand dollars.

You can even glue a thick, brightly colored ribbon to the back of the sand dollar and use it to tie a bow around the napkin holder and anchor the sand dollar on top.
