Before the party, send out an email to everyone who will attend and ask them to think of a story that relates to the birthday boy or girl. The stories can involve funny moments or tie into growing older.

Announce Roast time! at the party and take out the paper bag or hat with the submissions.

Ask the birthday person to pull out a story and the guest who submitted it will do the roast and share the event.
