Blue Hawaiian

Mix up a drink that's as refreshing and blue as the ocean waves in Hawaii. This classic cocktail will add to your party's island feel and guests will enjoy sipping on a themed cocktail.

Our Blue Hawaiian is certain to add a special touch to your luau and the best part is that it can be made according to your taste.

We love ours frothy in the summertime and serve it margarita-style. But in the winter, we prefer it more martini-like. Whichever way you sip it, simply garnish with a pineapple chunk and cherry!

Ingredients

1 ounce of light rum
1 ounce of vodka
3/4 ounce of blue curacao
Heavy splash of pineapple juice

Directions

If you want to make this a blended drink simply combine your ingredients with the ice in a blender and pour into a margarita glass.

To make martini-style, shake the ingredients up with ice in a cocktail shaker. You'll want to shake, shake, shake until beads of "sweat" form on the outside of the container so that you're sure it's chilled. Strain into a martini glass.

Keep it super simple and mix your ingredients punch-style before the party (adjust your measurements!). Then, pour into tall glasses filled with ice for guests to enjoy!
