Budget-Friendly Christmas Centerpiece

It's quite easy to create your home's Christmas decor. We found this dove in the clearance section of a Home Goods store and quickly picked it up to use somehow in our Christmas decorations. There are a lot of possibilities for this piece, and it could be used for several different holidays or occasions. 

We wanted the dove to resemble the doves on the Pear Tree Greetings Christmas party invitation and with just a few changes, we had a unique and festive centerpiece for our holiday table.

It was easy to replace the white heart in the birds beak with a shiny red Christmas ornament. 

We then placed the dove in a large bowl that we had adorned with a red and white polka dot ribbon.

Fill the bowl with red and blue ornaments, and you have transformed an ugly duckling into a Christmas dove. You can often find some rather plain items and with a little color, shine, and ribbon, create a one-of-a-kind display to use in your Christmas decorations.
