Super Bowl Party Foods: Butternut Squash Fries





We know that you're no couch potato. So this Super Bowl, pass on the grease and go butter-NUTS for these easy (and healthy) fries. Try out this Super Bowl food recipe that is nice alternative to traditional french fries.

Fries are done when they are starting to brown on the edges and get crispy.

Ingredients

  • 1 Whole Butternut Squash
  • 1 Pinch Kosher Salt

Directions

  • Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Using a sharp knife peel and de-seed your butternut squash and cut it into thin wedges
  • Place on a cookie sheet sprayed with non-stick spray and cover lightly with kosher salt.
  • Place tray in your pre-heated oven and bake for 40 minutes or so, flipping halfway through baking process.
