Are you the type who will cut cute buttons from your kids' worn out clothes before throwing them out? (Really -- they're perfectly good!) Put your jar of buttons to use with these whimsical napkin rings!

Supplies

Card stock
Scissors
Buttons
Mini Glue Dots®

Directions

Step 1: Cut a strip of card stock 1/4-inch wide and about 6 inches long. Starting 1 inch from the end, apply buttons by pressing each one onto a Mini Glue Dot, removing it from the backing, and pressing it onto the strip. Never used a Glue Dot® product before? Check out a quick video for tips - these adhesives make crafting so easy! Mess free and safe for kids is what makes them our go-to.

Step 2: Curl the strip into a loop. When the ring is the side desired, trim the ends, still leaving 1 inch on the other end.

Step 3: Apply two Mini Glue Dots near the end of the trimmed side, and press the 1-inch side onto the dots.

Step 4: Roll a napkin into a tube shape and pull it through the napkin ring.
