Candy Cane Christmas Martini

Candy Canes aren't just for the children! For big kids with a sweet tooth, incorporate this famous Christmas candy into a cocktail.

We mixed them into our holiday martini and created a festive Christmas drink recipe that's sweet, minty  in a glass. The hint of peppermint makes this a great after dinner drink and the perfect way to end a holiday party.

Ingredients:

1 ounce peppermint schnapps

3 ounces of vanilla vodka

Crushed candy cane for garnish

Ice

Directions:

Using a rolling pin or a skillet, hammer the candy cane into rough pieces and add a pinch to each glass. You can also reserve some for rimming your martini glass if you'd like.

Next, add the remaining ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously before straining the contents into the martini glass.
