Candy Corn Thanksgiving Card

Created with children in mind, this Thanksgiving card uses the season's most popular sweet treat - candy corn - as turkey feathers. Gather the kids a bowl of candy and see what creative turkey designs they come up with.

Supplies

One sheet of construction paper
Brown paper circle, approx. 2" diameter
Glue
Candy corn
2 googly eyes
Orange craft foam or paper

Directions

Fold construction paper in half.

Glue brown circle in center of card.

Glue 2 googly eyes and a nose (use the orange tip of a piece of candy corn) on the circle.

Start at the center of one side of the circle and glue candy corn around the top to the other side. There is no specific number to use, just fit in candy corn where needed.

Cut out Y-shapes from orange craft foam and glue them upside down on the bottom of the turkey body as legs.

Have kids write or draw a greeting inside the card, or include a funny Thanksgiving poem.
