Valentine's Day isn't exclusively a holiday for couples. You can spend the day with anyone you care about, including your closest family members and friends! We have some creative Valentine's Day ideas for celebrating this February 14 with your friends.

Throw a party! Celebrate with all girls, couples, or co-ed singles.

Gather all of your girlfriends for a Valentine's ladies lunch. Gather at a fun restaurant, or host a party for everyone at your home.

Celebrate with a couple's dinner. Invite a few couples over for a seated dinner. Order in from one of your favorite restaurants, or if you're feeling ambitious, prepare your own Valentine's Day meal for your guests.

Host a Singles Party. Invite over all of your single friends and have them bring over a single friend of the opposite sex.

Here a few fun ideas for hosting a LOVE-ly Valentine's Party of your own!

Drinks

Make a signature red cocktail (or mocktail). Cranberry juice or grenadine should do the trick!

Dessert

Red Velvet Cupcakes from CRUMBS Bake Shop (or make your own!)

Pick up a box of Valentine's funfetti cupcake mix at your grocery store.

Bake sugar cookies using heart-shaped cookie cutters or make a cake using a heart-shaped baking pan.

Fill dishes with red candy like Red Hots or Hot Tamales. The Valentine's M&M mix or conversation hearts also work great!

Decor

Deck your home out in all things red! This can include red serveware, red balloons, red candles, red roses, and anything else you have laying around the house. Accent with pink and white for a soft touch.

Switch out your regular light bulbs for red ones for a special Valentine's ambiance.

For a seated dinner, make heart-shaped place cards with your guest's names.
