Cherry blossoms are a triple threat - beautiful, rare, and symbolic. Chinese culture holds cherry blossoms as a symbol of power and feminine beauty. They also add a touch of elegance to any accent or decor piece you place in the room. Many asian cultures incoporate this dainty flower into foods, art, and even spiritual ceremonies.

This simple wreath would be an elegant accent on any front door. Although it is a very basic wreath, consisting of virutally only cherry blossoms and branches, it's simplistic beauty cannot be ignored.

Supplies

16 cherry blossom or similar fruit tree branches, about 2-feet long
Floral wire
Wire cutters

Directions

Step 1: Make 4 bundles each with 4 cherry blossom branches.

Step 2: Cut lengths of floral wire using wire cutters.

Step 3: Wrap a wire around the middle of each bundle to secure them.

Step 4: Line up bundles along a table by overlapping them lengthwise into an 8-foot long strip.

Step 5: Wrap floral wire around branches, every 6 inches or so, to attach bundles together and further secure branches.

Step 6: Bend branch strip into a wreath shape and secure with floral wire.

Step 7: Hang the wreath on a hook, nail, or by whatever means available.
