More Party Ideas

We all have our favorite ornaments for the tree each year, however, it's always fun to add a few extras! These DIY paper ornaments take minutes to make, add cheerful color to the tree and are just plain fun!

Supplies

Paper circles in a variety of sizes (pre-cut or make your own)
Decorative scrapbook paper and/or leftover holiday cards
Scissors
Pinking Shears
Ribbon
Gluestick

Directions

Step 1: Cut out a large paper circle and trim using pinking shears, or leave plain.

Step 2: Cut out a holiday-themed shape from the front of an old holiday card or trace a shape such as a dove or bird onto holiday-themed scrapbook paper. Glue onto front of circle.

Step 3: Embellish by adding layering shapes with smaller circles cut from paper or add a touch of glitter. Get creative!

Step 4: To finish, cut a length of ribbon, loop and glue the loose ends to the back of the ornament.
