Who says learning isn't fun?  Teach your pre-schoolers their colors in the backyard this summer with this fun and simple game of Color Hop.

Recommended Number of Players: 4-6 people.

Ages: 3-5 years old.

Supplies:  Colored frisbees, discs or place mats work well as the color discs needed for this game, and a kitchen timer or whistle to time the game.

Set Up:  Place the color discs in a scattered pattern, making them close enough to get to in a few steps, but not too close that participants run into each-other when racing from one color to the next.

How to Play:  All players begin on the same color, and wait for a new color to be shouted out.  Any player that does not arrive on the new color before the timer/whistle goes off is 'out'.  The object of the game is to move from color to color until there is one player left and they are announced as the winner.  Timing between colors should be determined by the age and number of players.

Adapt By:  Move the fun inside on rainy days, just make sure you have enough room to move from color to color.
