Cork Wine Sleeve

Wine is a reliable gift to give any adult around the Christmas season! This year, instead of having the liquor store attendant throw it in that same old metallic bag, try presenting your host, hostess, friend or family member with a wine bottle dressed in a cork sleeve.

Here's the easy how-to.

Supplies

Sheet cork (available at most hardware stores)
Scissors
Hot glue or super-strength bottled glue
Tack and a gift tag

Directions

Step 1: Use scissors to cut a piece of sheet cork that will fit around your wine bottle.

Step 2: Glue the back seam of the cork securing it around the bottle. (Tip: If necessary, tie string or ribbon around the cork to keep it in place as the glue dries).

Step 3: Cut a small cork rectangle as mounting place for a gift tag and glue it to the cork on the bottle.

Step 4: Secure the gift tag to the cork with a tack.
