Crafty Ways to Dress Up Party Chairs

Dressing up chairs is a thoughtful touch to add to your party, particularly if it's a sit-down celebration or more formal affair.

Whether you do it for all the chairs, every other chair, or just for the guest of honor, it's a great way to dress up basic folding chairs and embellish your space.

For a baby shower celebration we had, we went with a colorful and more whimsical chair-back design, but this tutorial and design can be customized to fit the celebration you use the idea for.

We love the effect of our double-sided ribbon, but solid colors look good too! Our decor was hung vertically on the chair, but you can certainly use the ribbon horizontally.

Supplies

Wide ribbon
Clip-on flowers from the craft store

Directions

Cut the ribbon into strips about 3 feet long. Fold it in half and lay the looped section on top of the chair.

Bring the tails up and pull them through the looped section. Attach the flower clip to the ribbon to hold it all in place!
