Create a Care Package for the Troops

This Memorial Day take your celebration a bit further by sending our troops overseas a care package to let them know we appreciate their sacrifice and hope they will all return home safely soon.

When you send out your Memorial Day party invitations, include a note to inform guests about what you plan to do and include a suggestion on what they can contribute. Along with the supplies, ask each person to include a note of thanks for the soldiers. Print out thank you notes and add to your invitation so everyone can share a few words of appreciation. Have some on hand at the party in case people forget to bring theirs!

On the day of the party, set up a big table to display all of the donations and take a picture of it with everyone gathered around it. This is a wonderful way to let the troops know you're thinking about them!
