What better way to have fun with the kiddos than telling them they get to play with worms and dirt? This last-minute Halloween dessert idea is sure to be a hit, and lucky for you, it’s a lot less messy than the real thing!
But don't limit this recipe to just make at home - make this fun and spooky dessert at any Halloween party, whether at work or in your child's classroom.

Have everyone drooling to play and eat dirt and worms!
Ingredients
1 box instant chocolate pudding, prepared as directed on package
Crushed chocolate cookies (Oreos are great!)
Gummy worms
Clear plastic cups
Directions
Start out by pouring your dry pudding powder mix into two cups of cold milk. Then whisk the pudding until it is a smooth consistency and place it into the refrigerator to chill for a couple of hours.
Make sure to place a plastic wrap covering over the pudding in the refrigerator so that you don't get a film across the top of your pudding.
While the pudding is cooling down, have the kids crush the Oreo cookies with their fingers in a bowl. If you want a finer Oreo consistency, remove the inner filling from the cookies and place the Oreos in a bag and roll a rolling pin over it, or just simply put them in the processor.
Once the pudding has cooled, divide the pudding evenly amongst four plastic cups and have the kids sprinkle the crushed chocolate cookie crumbs on top like dirt. Have them gently press four to five gummie worms in them as a yummy and spooky Halloween surprise!
For an extra touch, place in skeleton candy or gummie fingers to make the dessert even more spooky! Eat and enjoy!
